Senior Business Analyst

Job Type:  Full-Time
Primary Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
IQdigitec is seeking a successful candidate who will be responsible for conducting business analysis and process design. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Project Managers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the overall project successfully meets the client’s needs.
  • Ensure that the requirements set forth by the business are captured and documented correctly. (Before developing and implementing the solution).
  • Analyze and understand the current state processes and ensure that the clients and the project team understand the context and implications of change.
  • Develop an understanding of how present and future business needs will affect the solution. Identify the sources of requirements and understand how roles help determine the relative validity of requirements.
  • Develop a Requirements Management Plan and disseminate the Plan to all stakeholders
  • Identify and document all business, technical, product and process requirements.
  • Work with the client to prioritize and rationalize the requirements. Help define acceptance criteria for completion of the solution.
  • Build effective relationships with clients to develop a joint vision for the project.
  • Assist the Project Manager by managing client expectations through careful and proactive communications regarding requirements and changes.
Qualifications:
  • University degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis or consulting environment with relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of business process design and business analysis approaches and tools
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working with business analysis methodologies, performance measurements and business process modeling
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, matrixed partnership and work closely with all levels of a project team
  • Ability to confirm objectives and drive them according to plan with a minimum oversight
  • Ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment that is detailed oriented, highly organized with strong problem solving, business analysis, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience with identifying improvement opportunities, defining and implementing new processes
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office,  Project, and Sharepoint
Assets:
  • Business Process Certification (CBPP, CBAP)
  • Proficiency with business mapping software
  • Experience in a professional services organization
  • Client relationship management

Senior Project Manager

Job Type:  Full-Time
Primary Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
IQdigitec is seeking a Project Manager for complex IT projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing, developing, coordinating and implementing strategic priority projects for our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in multiple medium to large-sized strategic projects
  • Lead and manage projects effectively and ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards
  • Define project charter and establish key deliverables and success metrics
  • Manage change requests to scope, requirements, and timeline – accountable to identify/raise project issues and drive the resolution of delivery issues in strong collaboration with technology team
  • Identify and mitigate project delivery, schedule, and operational risks
  • Regularly communicates / interfaces and builds strong relationships with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure smooth transition of the business solution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and propose process improvement opportunities that complement the project and the overall department strategic plan; manage the process of innovative change effectively
  • Lead status meetings, report on status, communicate status to program managers, sponsors and Steering Committee
  • Provide status reports to stakeholders and sponsors and escalate any issues, risks or changes as required
  • Manage overall budget – track budget to actuals and comply to on time within budget requirements
  • Define and monitor metrics for identifying success/performance, using metrics that are realistic, achievable and implementable
Qualifications:
  • University degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience with significant responsibility progression
  • Proven experience managing medium to large sized project teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations
  • Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, matrixed partnership and work closely with all levels of the firm
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment that is detailed oriented, highly organized with strong problem solving, decision making, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to coach and lead team members from different departments (direct and indirect relationships)
  • Proven experience with identifying improvement opportunities, defining and implementing new processes
  • Solid influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint
Assets:
  • Prince2 or PMP Certifications
  • Client-facing experience in a Professional Services firm
  • Client relationship management
  • Successful delivery utilizing offshore capabilities
